- The All Day I Dream man joins Nicolas Jaar and Dixon on the Nevada festival's 2016 lineup.
Further Future has announced more acts (and a location) for its second festival, which will take place April 29th through May 1st at the Moapa River Indian Reservation.
Lee Burridge heads up the most recent round of artists. The UK-born DJ, who built his outdoor All Day I Dream parties into a global phenomenon, typically plays for Further Future's organizers Robot Heart at Burning Man each year. The Robot Heart bus, an 85,000-watt rig familiar to most Burners, will be on-hand for Further Future, with Burridge taking on headlining duties. Robot Heart founders Benjamin Alexander and Swamy will also play atop the art car, as will NYC jock John Dill.
While the Robot Heart stage feels closest to the festival's roots, the acts playing there join a diverse bill featuring big room acts like Nico Jaar, Dixon and DJ Tennis along with experimental fare like Oneohtrix Point Never and Neel. The festival will take place about an hour outside of Las Vegas. In addition to music, Further Future will host speakers from SoundCloud, Google and NASA.
