The German techno producer also has dates in LA and Chicago next month.
Cio D'Or will headline a Subversive show in Vancouver on December 6th.
The Cologne producer's hypnotic and droning style is a key part of what influential blog mnml ssgs termed "headfuck techno" back in 2009, along with similar-minded producers like Donato Dozzy. She's one of the best known artists in the Prologue label roster as well, and that's where she's dropped most of her releases, including 2009's Die Faser album. As years go by D'or has become quieter on the production front, only releasing one 12-inch in 2012—Ur - Uhr on Telrae—with nothing so far in 2013.
After a hiatus last year, D'or has become more active on the touring front with one visit to North America in 2013 already. She'll return this December for her first date in Canada, a Subversive party that'll go down at the Vancouver techno crew's usual haunt, Open Studios, on the 6th. She'll be backed up by residents Austin Phillips and Midnight Vulture. D'or then has two more gigs—a night in LA alongside Monoloc on December 7th, and an Oktave event at Chicago's Smart Bar on the 14th
Tickets for the LA and Chicago dates are available on RA.
