The up-and-coming producers have a string of dates in the American northeast and Canada this month.
Huerco S and Anthony Naples will play a handful of dates together this month.
Employing rough-hewn sound design that takes inspiration as much from time spent on the internet as in clubs, these American newcomers (and Opal Tapes labelmates) seem like a natural pairing. And after making names for themselves in 2012 mostly through their recorded output, they'll each be starting 2013 by taking their sound on the road.
The tour kicks off on January 10th at Toronto's Drake Hotel with locals Nacho Lovers, with a gig scheduled in Montreal the next night. They'll be back in the states for a January 13th show in Providence and an appearance in Boston on the 15th. The Kansas City-based Huerco S will join Naples in his home base of Brooklyn for two shows to tie up the tour—one at Cameo Gallery in Williamsburg (with L.I.E.S. acts Terekke, Bookworms and Steve Summers) on January 16th, and one at the Bossa Nova Civic Club in Bushwick on the 19th. The Providence and Brooklyn dates will feature Huerco S playing live, and he'll man the decks at the others. Naples, the "Mad Disrespect" producer who we recently profiled as part of our Breaking Through series, will DJ at each date.
