The CLR boss will headline events in Los Angeles and San Francisco later this month.
Chris Liebing will travel stateside for two parties in California later this month.
Based in Germany, Liebing has become an iconic presence in techno circles around the world. Aside from over two decades of experience behind the decks, he's probably best known for his label, CLR, which has put out over 50 records from the likes of Speedy J, Tommy Four Seven and Liebing himself. Last year, the label celebrated its tenth anniversary and re-released Adam X's Traversable Wormhole catalog with a series of big name remixes. Amidst his usually packed touring schedule, he also operates (and introduces) the label's weekly podcast series, which showcases CLR artists and techno from around the world; recent contributors include Shifted, Perc and Ben Klock.
Liebing's two-part California tour starts next Saturday in LA, where he'll play an all-night private party with the Droid Behavior crew, including Drumcell and Audio Injection (both of whom dropped a collaborative remix on CLR last year). The second half of the trip takes place the following week in San Francisco, where Liebing shares a Thursday night bill at Vessel with Nikola Baytala.
