The Modern Deep Left Quartet, Glass Candy, Sinden and more will join the trio at the 11th edition of the Berlin festival.
Club Transmediale have unveiled the initial line-up of acts that will take part in the 11th edition of the event.
The festival has become an established figure on Berlin's clubbing scene over the course of the last decade, regularly packing out the city's Maria am Ostbahnhof venue throughout its two week duration. This year, however, sees Club Transmediale make a move to the newly reopened WMF, with the majority of the programme taking place across the club's three rooms. The festival will hold its opening party at the HAU theatre with avant-electronicist and Touch stalwart Jacob Kierkegaard before launching its WMF residency, which offers a diverse range of genres to choose from over its nine consecutive nights.
Glass Candy, Mike Simonetti and Desire will bring their lo-fi disco stylings to the venue on Friday 29th January, while the following parties offer a spread of dubstep (FaltyDL, Brackles, Joker), techno (Oni Ayhun, Cobblestone Jazz, Deadbeat) experimental electronics (Keiji Haino, Mika Vainio, Atom TM) and much more.
Elsewhere in the city, things will finish up on Sunday 7th February with a party at Berghain, which will see Joris Voorn take over the venue along with Pitto and Rejected partner Edwin Oosterwal.
Per usual, there is much more to be announced, so stay tuned to find out what else the festival has up its sleeve in late January and early February for Berlin.
