  • Oneohtrix Point Never will premiere a new work called MYRIAD at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City May 22nd through the 24th. A press release says the new endeavor from Daniel Lopatin, a "'concertscape' imagined from the perspective of an alien intelligence," is his "most ambitious project to date." The work follows installations at the Museum of Modern Art, Tate Britain and MoMA PS1. MYRIAD delves into OPN's "long-standing fascinations with film and television tropes, abstract sculpture, game ephemera, poetry, apocryphic histories, internet esoterica and philosophies of being," and will be presented by the Park Avenue Armory and the RBMA Festival New York City. Lopatin recently won the Cannes Soundtrack Award for his Good Time soundtrack. He's also remixed Ryuichi Sakamoto, who performed at the Park Avenue Armory earlier this year.
