  • Oneohtrix Point Never has won the prestigious Cannes Soundtrack Award. The artist, AKA Dan Lopatin, was given the award for his soundtrack to Good Time, a film directed by Ben and Josh Safdie. The movie, which stars Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Jason Leigh, screened at this year's Cannes Film Festival, which wraps today. His score for Good Time follows his previous soundtracks for The Bling Ring, directed by Sofia Coppola, and Partisan. He collaborated with Iggy Pop on a track from the Good Time score, which, according to reviews of the film, looks back to the kosmische influences of Lopatin's early work. Good Time is out in theaters August 11th. Check out the trailer for Good Time.
