  • LA label Acid Test will release Fates Unknown from Tin Man, Jozef K & Winter Son on June 20th. Since his last full-length, 2014's Ode, Tin Man (AKA Johannes Auvinen) has been in a collaborative mood, working with Cassegrain, Gunnar Haslam, and most recently, John Tejada on Swift Box, a four-tracker which came out on Acid Test this past February. The new one sees him teaming up with Manchester production duo Jozef K and Winter Son, who have previously appeared on imprints like Sasha's Last Night On Earth, Skint and Chiwax. The press release says the collaboration has an "epic, emotional tone," with Interdimensional Transmissions boss Erika providing a remix of the title track. Acid Test's leftfield sublabel Avenue 66 also has new material on the way. The third EP on Avenue 66 is from Joey Anderson, who kicked off the imprint with Above The Cherry Moon in 2013. The new one, which follows Anderson's recent Invisible Switch LP for Dekmantel, is out sometime this summer.
