- Naveen G. (a.k.a. Samsara) first gained international exposure when his track “Afterthought” was signed to Yoshitoshi records and appeared on Satoshi Tomiie’s Nu Breed compilation. His latest release for Montreal’s Chug Records, entitled “Lost Mysticism”, follows in similar footsteps with excellent production and wicked beats.
The original version is darker, riding along a mixture of Indian percussion and a monstrous bass line. The track works as a great set builder, guaranteed to help move the crowd into a transcendental zone of dance floor bliss.
Pat Foosheen takes over the remix duties on the flip side, providing a peak time stormer version of the original. Altering the tune with his signature melodic sound – not too mention a fantastic build that constantly changes as the track progresses – it rounds out what is a double sided winner.
With their sixth release, Chug Records proves to be a label that won’t be going away anytime soon. “Lost Mysticism” is guaranteed to keep the dance floor moving as it finds its spot in the record cases of the world’s most highly respected DJ’s.
