- Hellpass, based in Preston, and has been one of the rising stars of the progressive production scene over the last 2 years. Since the inception of his Hellpass label in late 2000, Andrew Byrne has seen not only recognition of the label from the likes of John Digweed, but also seen a series of releases on other labels. Currently in the pipeline are releases on Renaissance, Gravitation Records and this one on Glasgow based Limbo Records.
Entitled 'Raiser' this release contains two fine mixes, my preference being 'Mix 2' - containing those Hellpass trademarks - tight drums & evil hisses, finally culminating in a Jean Michel Jarre-esque main drop... awesome!
