Silvers Storic - Contact/Wired

  • New breakbeat artist, Silver makes his debut on 10 Kilo records with some dark, moody, electro styled breakbeats. Side A. Contact Clocking in at 9 minutes long is this chilled out, trippy number. Deep and heavy basslines make up the first half of this track, moving onto some synthetic drum beats from the middle onwards. Snippets of vocal samples everywhere add to the sinister mood of this release. Not really one for the dancefloor though. Side AA. Wired Basically continuing on from the same theme as Contact, Wired has more of a Dylan Rhymes or BLIM tech-house styled approach to breaks, offering up a harder thumping bass drum beat, with a few industrial sounds such as a circular saw sample, cutting in once in a while. After the interlude in the middle, it straight to the beats, adding in a wicked electro synth line to provide some melody.
