  • Flight Facilities "Clair de Lune," released a decade ago, is a classic in the world of chilled-out, slow-burning, sultry electronic music. The Australian duo (and vocalist Christine Hoberg) walked so Odesza could run. To mark its tenth anniversary, label Future Classic have tapped none other than Dixon—the master of the pop-house remix—to rework it. The result is a gently contemporary remix focused on around a bouncing-ball bassline, so boingy that it's almost funny, but perfectly balanced in Dixon's hands. It's probably not going to win over anyone who wasn't a fan of the original's Debussy-interpolating late-night melodrama, but in terms of offering a new reason to play a well-rinsed cut, Dixon passes with flying colours. It's easy to imagine this one soundtracking plenty of sunsets in these waning days of open-air parties.
