IB - Live on the main stage

  • K-records have been serving the public with a feast of music over the last few years and in 2006 we see the Belgium based store step it up a notch with its new label by the same name. The first release comes from Spanish outfit IB. comes in two takes, first off the plate is the Original mix from Sergio Miraglia and Miguel Munoz. From the start a solid beat sets the pace while gradually a sublime, breathy pad swirls around before the beat drops out. From this point broken percussive patterns take over and build further as un-noticed an energetic tribal groove comes to the fore along with those pads once more, becoming more intense the louder they get. On the B side is the Loudeast remix, turning up the heat in the form subtle tech roller with filtering sounds driving the flow while adding into the mix chopped up parts of the originals percussion. While there's a deep side ,the melody is added and things shape up on a lighter mood complete with piano chords to lift the vibe. A quirky debut from K-records.
