Anyone with even a passing interest in marathon parties and endless loopy grooves has probably seen a video of Christiaan Browne, AKA Christian AB, letting loose some forgotten '90s gem in the early morning daylight. But renowned as he is behind the decks, Browne's productions remain underrated (hot tip: this is the best $10 you'll spend on Discogs all year). Hopefully his latest release on Timeless will see him getting his dues as a producer as he mixes electro templates into his usual house funk. "Waiting 4 Nobody" is the dance floor bomb. Vintage 808 programming and acidic squelches drive the track while the vocal refrain—"I ain't got no time"—is slowly enveloped by a cloudbank of chords. It's the sort of track you'll make time to hear all the way through on the floor.
