- Through releases from founder DJ MELL G and DJ Fuckoff, Hamburg's Juicy Gang label has defined itself as a place for fun, occasionally outrageous and internet-savvy club music from Germany. It's latest release comes from Ukrainian producer Raavel, whose work is a canny combination of electro, EBM and techno. The title track from his new EP pairs deflated minor chords with a burrowing bassline, coagulated acid and some really splashy hi-hat work, an important detail for those willing to listen closely. It's fast, with an agitated kick drum pattern and a pitched down vocal—all expected ingredients, but dynamite in Raavel's hands.
