- "Maintain" is not generally the first word I think of when imagining political rallying cries. "Revolution!" "Change!" "Liberty!" are the verbs that generally spring to mind. But Olive T's latest single, "We'll Maintain," makes a case for the subtle power of simply being OK. With classic New York disco house strings and a simple, ascending synth line, the New York house producer shows us her vocal chops for the first time singing, "The world won't change / I won't change / Let us all maintain." It's a powerful (and perfectly poppy) argument for the power of staying resilient in a world that is continually trying to break you down.
