- In February, Munich-born brothers Glaskin sampled a fleeting lyric from A Tribe Called Quest's "1nce Again" and built a banging breakbeat electro track around it. "Slim Line" was released on their YAEL Trip label earlier this year, and then last month the duo invited a handful of producers to remix it and other recent material. London's Baby T (better known as B.Traits) leaves the gnarliest of stamps on "Slim Line" with a lethal combination of nasty bass and a Prodigy-like breakdown that traverses old-school rave and breaks bolstered with big 2-step drums. It's the kind of curveball tune that would go down a treat in a techno set, catching the audience off-guard for all the right reasons.
