Bunny - FOUL

  • Unsettling sound art somewhere between modern classical and ambient.

  • After debuting some of her tracks live alongside Klein and Space Afrika, North London producer-vocalist Bunny, AKA former RA staffer Vivian Oparah, finally bares all with her first single "FOUL," a glitchy ambient cut that creeps and crawls its way into nail-biting levels of intensity. Unsettlingly jaunty keys plink at irregular intervals while a propulsive bassline snarls like some unidentified threat. Confirmation that you're not completely alone in the dark only arrives once Bunny's disembodied vocals bubble to the surface. Her malevolent giggles and icy whispers of, "Didn't mean to" create an ambience that's as tongue-in-cheek as it is corrosive. "FOUL" is anything but. It's a gorgeously textured night train through our darkest impulses.
