- Beau Wanzer and Dan Jugel's JUZER project was an outlet for raw, experimental electronic music until Jugel's passing in 2018. To kick off 2022, The Hague label RUBBER has invited Wanzer to select three archival tracks, along with a remix from Unit Moebius Anonymous, for the Layer Of Moleman EP. Siren-like shrieks, unintelligible distorted vocals and an unrelenting, chugging beat characterise the thrilling "The Saturators." This is abyssal house that sounds like it's meant for a dance floor near the earth's core, a worthy tribute to Jugel's contributions to Chicago's dance music underground.
