- With the launch of its new label, iconic Manchester venue Band On The Wall now has another outlet to explore the rich intersection of jazz and electronic music. Releases so far have centred on funky house and neo-soul with driving rhythm sections, making it a perfect home for Contours' new 7-inch. As the title indicates, congas take the star role here, but like a gracious actor, they don't hog the spotlight. The drums have a light, West London broken beat touch, and the song is rounded out by lush keys and a warped-sounding bassline. This is dubbed-out jazz at its best.
