- Salamanda is a collaborative project from two of Seoul's most exciting producers fusing New Age with ambient, Yetsuby and Uman Therma. On their debut album Sphere the two explore a wide range of textures and tempos, with a refreshing levity. On "Between Blue And Purple," it's their use of rhythm that gives the song its playfulness. The melody in the song only ever appears in fits and starts, always slightly askew. But the rubbery bump of the kick and water drip of the hand drums instill the song with a bit of bounce, like catching the shine of quartz in grey granite.
