On the title track from his new EP on SHERELLE and NAINA's Hooversound label, he pairs manic rave stabs—sped up to an unhealthy amphetamine rush—with jittery drum & bass rhythms. It's a little Ragga Twins, a little 2 Bad Mice and a little modern experimentation, as Samurai Breaks throws zippy sounds together at a speed that would satisfy both happy hardcore heads and DJs in the hyperpop world. It's three minutes of blistering ecstasy with enough low-end to make any bass head grimace.
