- There’s no shortage of forward-thinking, bass-heavy electronic music in Bristol. But Pressure Dome has managed to hold its own thanks to a large roster of talented, little-known producers and label-head Yushh’s ear for unpredictable but satisfying club music. "The main thing I look for is detail," she told 365 Bristol. "I want the tunes to be doing their own little thing, while also referencing and crossing over into multiple genres." Pressure Dome's first international compilation is full of tunes that do exactly that, and US producer Ronan's "Ololiuqui" is a great example. With its hollowed out, angular half-time jungle break and bouncy dub bassline, it's tense, detailed and warmly melodic all at once.
