  • "Warm Love" is an early classic from one of Cari Lekebusch's many projects—in this case, Agent Orange, which released a few EPs in the mid-'90s. This is one of those slow (compared to today), psychedelic, pulsating tracks with a rubbery acid bassline that might sound like psytrance if you sped it up fast enough. Humid and close, the original sounds like early Biosphere releasing on Frankfurt Trax. As part of a new reissue of Agent Orange material, trance-loving techno producer Blue Hour brings the track into 2021 with a remix that ups the tempo considerably without losing the swampy magic of the original. In fact, in this version, the hushed whispers sound even more spine-tingling, and the icy string motif more dramatic, spiking the tension in what once seemed like a warm, welcoming track. It's a remix that brings something new to the table without losing sight of the original.
