Using sinister synths, thudding kick drums, staggered tempos and the sombre sample of a Pakistani news report from the '80s, the Berlin-based producer carefully constructs a rugged landscape of anxiety, urgency and nerves. If ever used in a film, it's the kind of track that would work as well in a chase sequence as a character's manic breakdown. Minimal yet emotive, these chords are channeling some powerful energy.
