- Steve Lawler heads to Brazil to find the latest talent to unleash on his Harlem Electric imprint, and this time he finds a young man by the name of Julio Torres who delivers a pretty special release in Biruta.
The Original Mix is a pretty intense affair relying on the use of a classic 303 sound to drive the production alongside some paced up beats and a driving baseline that subtly flows underneath it all.
Greg Churchill delivers a pretty tasty remix on the b-side that uses some very fine percussion as well as a very tasty baseline that wobbles and drives its way forward. Tripped out effects help too alongside a pretty funky electro line that features late on in the track.
Sean Miller’s Boa Mix is last up and it is the smoothest of the lot with some laid back beats combining well with a smooth electro baseline that keeps the track on the funky tip.
Not a bad release here with 3 very solid mixes.
