- As a resident at Berlin's Cocktail D'Amore party, Juan Ramos helped create its distinct, '80s-tinged sound. "Fahrt Im Himmel (Let It Go)," the lead track off his new EP for long-time home ESP Institute, reflects that distinct, appealing sound. With its flamboyant vocals, it could be a Chicago house track from 1986. But Ramos has the advantage of modern production equipment, so he goes wild with the effects—the vocals sound like they're beamed from a spaceship. It captures the feel of classic house music, along with the joy that makes much of it so memorable.
