- The London-based synth experimentalist Xvarr returns with Echoes Of Time, a spacious release that channels elements of Berlin-school kosmische into ambience and serenity. Each of these four tracks is a world unto its own. The EP begins with the highlight, "She Healed Him In Her Sleep," where majestic synths might bring you into a drowsy state. The piece shines with tranquility, joy and melancholy. It nicely contrasts with "Past Masters," where percussion leads us somewhere that feels more physical.
