- The next release on Blu-Room Records out of Northern Ireland is a two disc release by Murat Uncu. The Wave Depth EP is a storming release and it is the first fro this new imprint.
First up on the a-side is Forever More, and it gets the label off to a pretty intense start. A upbeat progressive stormer, the track has devilish low end sounds that wobble and give the track a good drive. Quite reminiscent of a late 90’s progressive track, especially with the lengthy breakdown midway that oozes with big room appeal, the track is sure to please those looking for a driving epic prog anthemic style production.
On the flip, Alican & Soner rework Formate Drop. Not as intense as the track on the a-side, this production is noticeably smoother with crisp flowing drums, warm subtle melodies and a nice smooth baseline that really comes to the forefront late in the production. Quite a nice remix here by the duo.
All in all this is quite a solid opening disc to this new venture as Blu-Room tries to make its mark in the world of Progressive.
