  • A. Luke Chable’s Respect to The Border Community Mix B. Original Canada’s a great county. Friendly people, lush natural landscapes, hot chicks, and the home away from home for Hollywood, but the most astonishing fact is that Canada is a massive pool full of incredible talented actors and musicians. Vancouver natives Kiki Stewardson and John Morgan continue the trend as their new subtitle hit “Blame” is nothing short of amazing. While Remix duties comes from the untouChable one himself – Luke Chable and his respect for the Border Community. The Original Mix is a good deep house lick. House drums whipping over passionate female vocals. The deep, dark beats builds well over a friendly bassline while the flames are set along with the rest of the grooves. Light synths are barely noticeable and the chord progression works just right. There’s plenty of moody vibes as the whole track feels laid back and warm; nothing sinister, just groovy stuff here. Don’t ‘Blame’ Release for jumping on the Chable bandwagon (and it’s still not late for any other labels wanting to get in). The man knows how to add his Holdenesque inspired sounds into a track without losing any of the magic from the original. The reconstruction is very much inspired, or should I just say almost a sequel, or maybe prequel, to “The Shepherd” with its low rumbles and delicious melodies. Luke’s “Respect to the Border Community Mix” soars with deep pumping l.a.t.e n.i.t.e. house sounds filtering with dark syths and an echoing bassline. Building quietly early on, the keys start to warp in with those unambiguous Chable-style trippy layers. With a short break, the horns start its sequencing as the buildup is forming once again to create another colossal Chable experience to be had. Luke’s sound continues to be special through all his remix work and this is by far his best attempt; very deep, very trippy, very big, very epic! Don’t be surprise if you see everyone in the club out of control! This is why I luv electronic music – it’s deep, interesting, and can take you on a journey as easy as it can make that booty shake.
