- Enrico Ferrari returns to the Mantra Vibes scene under his Undo / Redo guise to deliver two very different, and more importantly, unique productions.
Eerie sounds and effects commence The Bee And Its Flower, as the rumbles of filtered sweeps and fluctuating tones build the production in the early stages. A strong kick and deep baseline continue to build the track until it takes an uplifting disco feel in the breakdown. The higher toned chords meet the groove filled baseline creating dancefloor mayhem that soon ends and returns to the deep throbbing tones that built the production. An interesting and devastating production on the a-side.
The b-side is even better. The Voyager must take its place as one of the productions of the year for very good reason. A strong and simple enough kick opens the track, shortly before a wobbly baseline gives the track a great groove. The main guitar melodic riff soon enters and weaves its way into the production in the early stages, until the track breaksdown and sees the melody interweave itself with electric effects and the filtered vocal sample. The melody is simply addictive, and works to great effects once the beats roll back in. A stunning production from Enrico.
What a great release by the Italian label Mantra Vibes. Just like the hey day of Italian Football, this release oozes in style and results in a silky smooth outcome. Fully deserving of a 10/10 score.
