Meat Katie - K-Hole

  • UK based producer, Meat Katie needs no introduction really. He reworked Stephane K's 'Numb' for SAW recently, and he returns for the SAW crew to deliver an original production by the name of 'K-Hole', which is accompanied by a joint remix with Elite Force. On the a-side is the Original mix. The breakbeat patterns of Meat Katie open up the tune with cut up and effected vocals weaved with the beats. A deeply embedded baseline then keeps the tempo building as the vocal effects keep coming in and out. A record that is clearly suited to a big room type setting with the baseline used. Quality as usual from Meat Katie. On the flip is the Meat Katie & Elite Force remix. This mix has a 4/4 feel to it with great use of little effects here and there. The electro like baseline increases in strength from time to time but remains throughout the track to give it a beautiful flow. It’s a clever remix and gives the release a different beat structure, but keeps the effect of dance floor destroyer intact. Another solid effort from Meat Katie. 2 tunes that are sure to work the dance floors in the current climate.
