On October 17th, 2006, cognac merchants Hennessy will host Hennessy Artistry, an invitation-only night of music in New York City which will conclude its recent nationwide club tour showcasing celeb DJs and established and emerging artists.
Electro synth-poppers Goldfrapp, tribal funky techno kingpin Carl Cox, Grammy-winning urban popstar Kanye West and New York indie-rockers The Strokes are all on the bill for the party which will have plenty of celebrity spotting. Of course, there's no point having celebs without having someone to gawk at them so mere mortals like you and I (and non-invited celebs) can apply online for a limited number of guestlist places. Each lucky applicant selected will receive a pair of tickets.
There's more to drinking cognac than plonking in a cube of ice. Besides the chance to rub shoulders with the stars and wiggle your bum off to Alison and Carl, you can also test out the latest Hennessy concoctions presented in dazzling Tom Cruise style. The NYC party is the first of a series of Hennessy Artistry events planned for other locations around the world in 2007.
