MF Doom is getting a new biography.
Out on October 29th via New York publisher Astra House, The Chronicles of DOOM: Unraveling Rap's Masked Iconoclast will detail MF DOOM's life, career and legacy. In the book, journalist S.H. Fernando (AKA SKIZ) analysed the rapper's different characters, projects, songs and lyrics that have made him one of the most influential figures in hip-hop. Fernando also interviewed several people who worked with MF DOOM.
The artist, real name Daniel Dumiile, died in 2020. Last year, his wife raised concerns about his treatment at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, leading the hospital to apologise for his lack of care.
