IMS Ibiza announces full programme for 2024

- The International Music Summit (IMS) in Ibiza has released the full programme for 2024. The 15th edition of the annual event will take place at the Mondrian and Hyde hotels from April 24th through 26th. A major theme for this year will be how the dance music community can heal when it becomes fractured by the impact of world events, including a lead panel titled Rebuilding Our Community: How To Bring Back Peace, Love, Unity & Respect. Resident Advisor will host a live Exchange with Juan Atkins and an additional talk with Smokin' Jo. These conversations will form part of the programming at The Brave Space, a new area for 2024 presented by HE.SHE.THEY. Elsewhere in The Brave Space, Celebrating The Godfather of House: Ten Years of the Frankie Knuckles Foundation will pay tribute to the house pioneer. Other highlights on the programme include a discussion on how the industry can positively address the climate crisis; the evolution of amapiano and Black electronic music; and conversations with artists like DJ Pierre, Chloé Caillet, Charisse C and Mochakk. IMS co-host Jaguar will bring together Nadine Noor of PXSSY PALACE, Queer House Party's Harry Gay and Sydney Blu from CHANGE THE BEAT to discuss what it means to run a collective and how best these collectives can be supported.
