- CMYK Group will now encompass a production house and record label, as well as the popular worldwide club night.
James Blake is expanding his CMYK project.
Yesterday, February 15th, the London artist announced via Instagram that CMYK is "growing" into CMYK Group, which will now encompass a production house and record label, as well as the popular worldwide club night.
"CMYK is a colour model that stands for cyan, magenta, yellow and key (black)," Blake wrote. "From these colours of ink, all possible colours can be created [...] CMYK Group seeks to push the boundaries of music without taking ourselves too seriously. Not to be confused with the YMCA."
One of CMYK Group's first projects is a new album called Bad Cameo by Blake and rapper Lil Yachty. Details of the LP are TBA, though here's a clip of the Atlanta artist talking about the collaboration.
