Amsterdam club Shelter is reopening next month following major renovation work.
The venue, which is part of the 22-story A'DAM Tower, has added LED panels to the ceiling and redesigned the space in an attempt to accentuate the atmosphere and sound. Shelter will also broaden its programming to incorporate different styles of music.
The likes of Jennifer Loveless, Krystal Klear, Black Loops, Guti and Gerd Janson will perform at the club across February. The lineup for the reopening party on February 9th is TBA.
"Being born and raised in Amsterdam, I strongly feel that the city needs this change now," said general manager Zep Fransen. "A high-quality club where multiple styles of music come together in the programme. The extra event space is going to play an important role in this. I can't wait for that first song to be played and for everyone to see our colourful rebranding reflected in our new LED ceiling."
