- Listen to two singles from the LP, which is out through Ed Banger / Because Music on April 26th.
Justice have announced two singles and more details from their long-awaited fourth album.
Out through Ed Banger Records / Because Music on April 26th, Hyperdrama will be available digitally as well as on CD and vinyl, including a limited-edition crystal-clear edition. One of the singles, "One Night/All Night," features psychedelic outfit Tame Impala. The other is called "Generator." The full tracklist is still TBA.
"We wanted 'One Night/All Night' to sound as if a dark/techno iteration of Justice had found a sample of a disco iteration of Kevin Parker," Justice said. "Kevin has a sense of melody that's fascinating in the sense that he manages to write melodies that feel both simple and natural, but very peculiar at the same time."
They added: "This song oscillates between pure electronic music and pure disco but you never really get the two at the same time. This very idea of switching instantly from a genre to another within a song runs through the whole record."
Justice will support the new album—their first since 2016's Woman—with a string of concerts and festival shows, including slots at Coachella, Primavera Sound and Dour Festival.
