  • Courtesy has released her first club-ready single to launch her new label, Against Interpretation.

Out today, Let the Music Hypnotise You spans one track featuring French DJ and singer Klō (AKA Soyklo). It follows last year's ambient trance album, fra eufori. The name of the new label is borrowed from a 1964 essay written by the late American author Susan Sontag. "The themes of the text may or may not be relevant for this announcement, I will let the dedicated reader decide," Courtesy said. "Over the last year, I've loved meeting young dancers and DJs, who I see are open to different genres of dance music and who, like me, believe that high impact on dance floors can come from different sources and BPMs." Courtesy also confirmed that her other outlet, Kulør, will no longer release new music, though all previous releases will still be available. Listen to "Let the Music Hypnotise You."
