  • Revered Amsterdam club De School is hosting its last-ever party this weekend. Running from January 12th through 15th, Het Einde will welcome more than 80 acts across four days, though the lineup is being kept under wraps. Local station Echobox Radio will also host on-site interviews with DJs and staff on the 13th and 14th. "Following the legacy of Club 11 and Trouw, De School has been of significance in the Dutch electronic music scene for years," programmer Veronique de Leon told Resident Advisor. "By being a platform for artists, but also due to the unique character that the building itself has, including our beautiful garden, café and restaurant. The place will be missed dearly." De School recently completed its final monthly programme, hosting Call Super, Peach, DVS1, DJ Marcelle and many more. When the club reopened in September 2022, it confirmed that it would run for 16 months before closing in January 2024. "This is our final party and the big goodbye," added programmer Sezin Ayrancı. "A festive remembrance together with all our dearest. It felt like the last occasion to give space to as many as possible that have been of such big meaning to us. From upcoming talent to the more established headliners." Browse Instagram and the event listing below for more information.
Correction, January 11th: An earlier edition of this article said that Echobox Radio would be live broadcasting sets from the party. The station is actually hosting on-site interviews.
