- From January 15th through February 15th, users can send their demos to a panel of artists, who will collate their favourites into a free compilation on Bandcamp.
Artist-led livestreaming platform Echio is launching Echio Academy and calling on emerging music producers to submit their demos.
The demos will be received and listened to by a panel of established artists—Alinka, Ayesha, Biesmans, Boys Noize, DJ Tennis, Gui Boratto, Luigi Tozzi, Polygonia, Rrose, Sarah Wild, Stimming and Tony y Not—who will then collate their favourites into a free compilation on Bandcamp this spring. The aim is to provide the budding producers with constructive, personalised feedback and exposure.
Echio was launched in 2022 by Tom Royer and Joakim Bouaziz (AKA Joakim) to nurture communication between established and amateur artists. Applicants for Echio Academy can submit their demos from January 15th through February 15h via this page.
