- BRR001 is out at the end of the month.
Silkie is starting a new label called Bedroom Rat Records.
The first release, out December 28th, features two UK garage cuts produced under the London artist's birth name, Solomon Rose. "Dance For Me" is more 2-step, while "TFC" is four-on-the-floor.
According to Rose, the label is a homage to his roots in UK garage but will also release cutting-edge dance music. The idea is to spotlight music beyond the 140 BPM bracket.
Originally producing UK garage and grime, Silkie made his name with a distinctive and melodic take on dubstep, releasing numerous records on Mala's legendary Deep Medi Musik label.
