Nowadays' 24-hour party to run every weekend next year

- The venue is expanding the once-monthly party as the future of its lease is uncertain.
- New York club Nowadays is expanding its monthly 24-hour party to every weekend. Beginning on January 6th, Nonstop will run every week, starting on Saturday nights and running through all of Sunday. Upcoming DJ highlights include Kevin Saunderson, Ryan Elliott, Rrose, Ciel, OK Williams and recent Breaking Through subject Nick León. In a mailout, the club's booker Gareth Solan explained that the club's lease is ending in 11 months, and that "success with it is not guaranteed." Solan continued: "So that prospect, combined with the growing appetite for extended [or] alternate hours, makes doubling down on weekly Nonstops feel like the right thing to do." With the event series' updated schedule, The Zumbador—the venue's new restaurant—has created a breakfast menu to serve from early in the morning. The bar will also begin to stock coffee, smoothies, gum, protein bars and other necessities to survive the long event. Nonstop launched in 2018, three years after Nowadays opened its doors in the summer of 2015. Throughout the years, the party has hosted the likes of Floating Points, Conducta, Marcellus Pittman and more.
