  • A California woman is accusing Thomas Wesley Pentz, AKA Diplo, of distributing nude photographs of her without permission for the second time, Pitchfork reported. Shelly Auguste, who has been embroiled in legal issues with the US artist since 2020, told the Los Angeles Police Department about the latest allegation in August, Pitchfork stated. The case is currently being reviewed by the city attorney's office. She is already suing Pentz for sexual battery, gender violence, intentional intrusion into private affairs, assault, fraud and emotional distress, among other complaints, with a civil trial scheduled for next April. The global superstar denied all allegations in 2021, and is suing Auguste for stalking, trespassing and distributing private materials. No criminal charges have been made against him. Last year, he won a ruling in a seperate court case against Auguste. RA has reached out to Pentz's team for comment. In a statement shared with Pitchfork, attorney Bryan J. Freedman, who represents Pentz, accused Auguste of "orchestrating an ongoing smear campaign" against his client. "Now, Ms. Auguste is at it yet again," the statement continued. "But Wes [Diplo] will defend himself, and, just as he has done every time Ms. Auguste has defamed, harassed and attacked him and his family, he will win."
