Legendary New York party and duo Mister Saturday Night is releasing a 15-tape box set.
Out on January 17th, the cassette series celebrates the outfit's 15th birthday, featuring recordings from DJs who have played over the years. There are sets from Musclecars, Floating Points, Aurora Halal, Soul Summit, Avalon Emerson and OK Williams.
Mister Saturday Night launched in 2009, in Manhattan's Chinatown, before moving to a backyard in Brooklyn as well as other temporary spaces, including makeshift venues and lofts. The party found its permanent home at Nowadays in 2016.
Last week, Nowadays opened its new Mexican-inspired restaurant, The Zumbador, run by longtime staff members Fernando Adan and Maria Bravo, who are also a couple.
