RA Community Connections comes to Johannesburg

- P_ssy Party and Lilies Radio will come together at The Plug on November 17th.
- Resident Advisor is bringing its global event series RA Community Connections (RA CC) to Johannesburg next week. Taking place on Friday, November 17th, the event will see creative hub and venue The Plug host a panel featuring the P_ssy Party collective. Featuring several key figures in local nightlife, the discussion will delve into issues including accessibility, event organisation and community-building strategies. In addition, the event will host a mixer for local promoters and collectives, soundtracked by residents from local online station Lilies Radio, a community-focussed organisation that's also a label and events platform. Deniece Marz, Kaddy, Buhle Mbongwa and Aureli will handle the tunes. Originally started in Los Angeles in 2017, RA CC relaunched in Montreal in June. There have since been editions in Copenhagen, Bogotá and Glasgow. Find out more via the event listing below.
