  • The Hague festival Rewire has revealed the first names for next year's edition. As usual, Rewire, which combines experimental music with art installations and more, will curate and present collaborations and unique performances. The first announcement includes a new show from Jenny Hval titled I Want To Be A Machine; a focus programme around the works of composer and sound artist Annea Lockwood; a festival debut from Autechre; Mexico City group Amor Muere; and the piano, voice and electronic explorations of Ukrainian artist Svitlana Nianio. Other highlights include Iceboy Violet, Oneohtrix Point Never, HiTech and Aunty Rayzor. There will also be world premieres from the likes of Nick León & Ezra Miller; Lila Tirando a Violeta & Sin Maldita; and Space Afrika & Rainy Miller. Rewire's 13th edition will take place from April 4th through 7th across multiple venues in The Hague, including clubs, churches and galleries. Here's the lineup so far, and revisit our Five Key Performances feature from last year.
