  • Applications are now open for Saffron's 2023-2024 artist development programme. Starting this December, the Bristol-based nonprofit will work with four Black women, trans and non-binary music creators on an eight-month programme. Successful applicants will receive an £800 development fee, one-to-one mentoring sessions, a five-day artist's retreat, monthly peer support sessions and a year-long Saffron membership. Applications close on November 3rd. Earlier this year, Resident Advisor and Doors Open partnered with Saffron and audio hire firm Sound Services to help fund a bespoke sound engineering course for six women, trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming people. Apply for the 2023-2024 programme.
