Berlin's Re:mise to close in November, promises future relocation

- Berlin club Re:mise will be shutting its doors later this year. The venue was unable to get an extension from the landlord ahead of its lease expiration in November, Re:mise announced on social media. In the statement, the team emphasised that only the current location is closing. That said, they don't know when or where they will reopen. "The fact that another hub of cultural diversity disappears due to our closure is unfortunately just a consequence of the ongoing gentrification of our city," Re:mise wrote. "We're determined to fight for the club culture and open spaces in Berlin and once again operate a place for people who shape the unique nightlife of Berlin, making it accessible to people from all walks of life." The club was previously known as Fiese Remise before re-opening as Re:mise in November 2021. It was home to several popular parties including Body Language, OBXENE and what they claim to be the "only real rave in Berlin on a Monday," SINGULARITY.
