RA to host free New York panel on identifying good sound

- Representatives from Love Injection, Karlala Soundsystem and BASSBEAR!! will convene at Outer Heaven this Wednesday.
- Resident Advisor is hosting a panel at New York club Outer Heaven this Wednesday, October 4th, titled How To Identify Good Sound. Running from 8 PM through 10 PM, the discussion will see Love Injection, Karl Scholz of Karlala Soundsystem and BASSBEAR!! unpack topics such as spatial acoustics, calibration, bass levels and the foundations of good sound. The panel is free and will be moderated by RA's senior staff writer Nyshka Chandran. A brief Q&A will follow the main discussion. Located in Manhattan, Outer Heaven is one of several new clubs to open in New York this year. The space has room for 140 people and has hosted the likes of Toribio, Julia Govor and Ivan Smagghe in recent months. Find out more about the panel via the flyer and event listing below.
